About The Webster House

The Webster House, located in Manchester, New Hampshire, is a specialized residential facility for adolescents from New Hampshire (boys and girls ages 8 to 18) who need to live away from home in a supportive environment. All activities of the New Boston Blues Association are currently focused on raising money for the Webster House.

The Webster House provides substitute parenting in a structured environment with primary goals of providing stability to a child's life and rebuilding family relationships leading towards family re-unification, foster placement or independent living. It provides balanced living surroundings which offer both individual and group counseling, tutoring and carefully planned recreational activities. It is an open setting which allows the residents an opportunity to utilize community resources and to work in selected jobs after school and during school vacations.

The Webster House is a private, nonprofit and non-sectarian agency licensed by the New Hampshire Division of Welfare. It is financed by a combination of private donations, fees for service, grants from government agencies, plus a modest endowment.
